Session Description

Sustainability is an increasing consumer demand and becoming a central pillar to deliver enough, safe food. The aquaculture industry is no exception. From GHG emissions to safeguarding ocean, ecosystems and people, from reducing food waste and preventing outbreaks of pests and diseases, companies are challenged to reduce impact, ensure traceability and build trust.

But aquaculture players have to come together to tackle the challenges ahead. A safe and sustainable supply chain starts with the sourcing of feed ingredients and ends at table of the final consumer. Delivering on the demands of consumers and the planet is not something single players can achieve alone. The interconnectedness of issues is tying the aquaculture supply chain closer together, demanding collaboration between every link.

Join our special session moderated by Stefano Crea, Global Market and Industries Director at DNV, as he is joined by key industry players to discuss sustainability, collaboration, and transformation in the aquaculture sector.
