WEBINAR: Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations in Phast and Safeti
Lowering the barrier to increased safety using CFD simulations
CFD models increase the understanding of the scope and impact of accidental releases of hazardous materials. The simulations help design and test emergency response systems, evacuation routes, proper placement of fire barriers, ventilation and other mitigations in a cost-effective way.
Phast offers three CFD add-ons, powered by KFX software, that can significantly increase understanding of these releases. The add-ons are easier to learn than dedicated CFD packages and they ultimately help protect lives and infrastructure during emergencies.
Who should attend:
This webinar is intended for existing users of Phast and Safeti, focusing on the functionality of the CFD add-ons.
In this webinar, we will:
- Demonstrate the value in using jet fire, pool fire and dispersion CFD simulations alongside traditional consequence modelling in Phast with some real-world customer examples
- Provide an in-depth look at CFD functionality in Phast
- Show how CFD results can be imported into Safeti so contribution to risk can be assessed
- Explain licensing models and the plans to integrate more CFD functionality into Phast
Date and times:
- 6 May 2025, 9 AM CEST (Paris) / 3 PM SGT (Singapore)
- 6 May 2025, 4 PM CEST (Paris) / 9 AM CDT (Houston)
If you can’t join us at one of the two specified times, register now and we’ll send you the recording to watch at your convenience.
