Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA)

This two-day course provides a comprehensive introduction to Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA), supporting participants in developing and implementing an effective and structured HARA plan in line with BRCGS requirements.

This course explains the principles and practical application of hazard analysis and risk assessment within a food safety management system. Through interactive exercises and activities, participants will learn how to identify hazards, assess risks, and establish appropriate control measures. The course also highlights the importance of prerequisite programmes, verification and validation of critical control points, and the use of BRCGS tools and resources.

Successful completion of the course requires passing an examination and contributes to the BRCGS Professional Recognition Programme.
