Principal Consultant

Robert is a Principal Consultant within DNV's ESG Advisory section, part of the wider Business Advisory Department. Based in London, he works alongside clients and colleagues across the UK and Ireland, helping connect commercial and decarbonisation challenges to the right expertise across DNV's transactions and strategy, ESG, and environmental and ecology advisory teams.

His background is in energy market analysis and green energy procurement, with a particular focus on Power Purchase Agreements and carbon market strategies. Robert enjoys working with project developers, international corporates, industrials and the investment community in support of their decarbonisation ambitions.

With almost 15 years in energy markets and economics, he has worked across hard to abate sectors including energy refining and production, and with global financial institutions across Europe and the Middle East. His earlier career includes roles as an energy analyst, a commercial marketing manager at an international energy producer, and a macroeconomist at an international financial institution.

Robert holds a BA in Economics from University College Dublin and the Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute, and contributes from time to time to Irish media on energy markets and policy.
